If you don’t read Woo’s mom’s blog “Bionic Beauty“, then you don’t know about our weekly series called “Bionic Homemade“. It usually focuses on beauty-related DIY recipes. I’ve written recipes on how to make your own face masks, body soaks, foot scrubs, and more.
But for this week’s edition, I decided to go in a very different direction. I felt it was time to step back, out of the bathroom and away from the mirror, and do something nice for a friend of yours that’s always there for you- your dog!
Mia and Joycey Couture share their fave Doggy Cupcake recipe!
These Doggy Cupcakes only take about 20 minutes to make and serve eight pooches – perfect for doggy’s birthday party!
Doggy Cupcakes Ingredients ~
- 1 cup Flour
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla
- 3 cups Honey
- 1 Egg
- 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
- ¼ cup Peanut Butter
- ¼ cup Vegetable Oil
- 1 cup Shredded Carrots
Cream Cheese Frosting ~
- 12 ounces fat-free Cream Cheese
- 2 teaspoons Honey
How to make the cupcakes ~
Preheat your oven to 350°F, and mix all the ingredients together (except those listed for the Cream Cheese frosting). When the batter is thick enough, scoop into a lined cupcake/cake pan. Cook 20-30 minutes (Keep an eye on them, the batter will be quite dense!).
Making the Cream Cheese Frosting~
Simply mix ingredients together, then spread on cupcakes when they cool. If you’re like me and really want to shower your fur buddy with yummy goodness- add a little bit of food coloring to the frosting. Then add milk bones (or another small doggy treat) as a topping!
Woo says "These Doggy Cupcakes are my favorites!"
This recipe is officially “Woo and Mia Approved”!
Keep on Woo’ing…
